This month, QuarterCompany featured South Florida After-School All-Stars (SFASAS) in the Client Spotlight section of its newsletter.

South Florida After-School All-Stars provides free year-round, school-based, comprehensive after-school programs that include academics, enrichment activities and health & fitness to middle-school aged students. The programs are fun for kids, keep them safe, and help them achieve success in school and life.

From one summer camp for 48 kids in 1997, SFASAS has grown to a full-service program serving 28 middle school locations in its after-school program, and an additional 9 elementary school sites in their new aftercare program, reaching a total over 4,000 students a year. With over 90% of its funds allocated directly to programming, SFASAS continues to strive in improving the quality, sustainability and cultural relevance of its youth-serving programs.
